2001: A Space Odyssey bores me utterly; and The Wizard of Oz is akin to torture, as is Back to the Future - each to their own, of course.
On the other hand, The Lord of the Rings trilogy of films, in my opinion, deserves a higher rank in the list. I also agree with the inclusion of Pan's Labyrinth and Close Encounters of the Third Kind.
I would have expected to see Dune in the list, or maybe Gormenghast. Still, this is the nature of such lists; almost everyone disagrees with their contents!
